2008 Pawleys Pavilion Reunion a Great Success!

Despite almost being canceled and an early occuring thunderstorm that sent tents into a nearby creek, many have heralded this years event as "the best yet!" After the rain cleared up the band started playing and the good times began. The music, food, company and bathrooms (yes, the bathrooms and if you attended this year you know just what I am talking about) were enjoyed immensely by everyone.
We were especially happy to see people of all ages in attendance. Although the event celebrates a building that burned to the ground in 1970 and the era that surrounded it, it also more importantly celebrates community. The entire community was represented that night with everyone from toddlers to those that remember Pawleys Island before the Pavilion burned dancing the night away!
SCELP had a great time planning the event and an even better time enjoying the party. We look forward to next years Pawleys Pavilion Reunion and hope to see you all there!
