Graduated from Claflin University and earned his master's degree from Southern New Hampshire University
Previously worked in the public media sector overseeing digital communications, philanthropy and community engagement
As the product of a rural community, Deontre' believes in environmental equity, sustainability and the relationality of ecological emotions which is what drew him to SCELP
Professionally, his passions also include equity and visibility for Gen-Z employees and four-day work weeks
When he is not fighting for the Wild Side, you can find him cooking, singing, spending time with family and friends or binging the latest Netflix series
