16th Annual Wild Side

AN UNFORGETTABLE EVENING

Dr. Pamela Martin

SCELP's 16th annual Wild Side, presented by Biohabitats, will be held in historic Georgetown, South Carolina on Saturday, October 4. Under the majestic oaks of Kaminski House, guests will enjoy a fantastic catered dinner with cocktails, live music from Prettier Than Matt and waterfront views from the sprawling lawn.

This year's featured speaker will be Pamela Martin, Professor of Political Science at Coastal Carolina University and Executive Director of CCU's RISE Center, which stands for Resilience, Innovation, and Sustainability through Education. She will share insights on global environmental policy and the rights of nature. It will be an unforgettable experience!

Even if the event is sold out, you can still participate to our amazing silent auction.

Until 8:00pm on Saturday, October 4, you'll be able to bid on unique outdoor experiences, great vacation rentals, fine art, jewelry and more. Winning bidders can pick up auction items from a SCELP office, or mailing arrangements can be made.

Here's how you can start bidding:

1. Click "Get Tickets" or "Register" on the Wild Side Auction site.

2. Register purchasing your free ticket.

3. Follow text message and/or e-mail instructions.

Every bid made and item won helps support SCELP and our work to protect South Carolina's land, water and communities. Thank you!

ABOUT WILD SIDE

Wild Side was created to honor the memory of SCELP’s founder, Jimmy Chandler. After Jimmy’s passing on August 7, 2010, his friends and colleagues wanted to come together and celebrate his life and vision. The initiative was auspicious and Wild Side has been SCELP’s signature event ever since.
