Keith Williamson is a native of Darlington County, where he was raised on a family farm and attended local public schools. He earned his BA in French from Davidson College and masters degrees from North Carolina State University and Stanford University in agriculture and business, respectively.

His business experience includes farming for 15 years with his father and brother, becoming a business unit manager for agricultural products during his 17 years with Sonoco Products Company in Hartsville, South Carolina, and managing US and international sales operations for seven years with McNeil International in Tampa, Florida. He retired in 2018.

He has served as chairman of the board of Pee Dee Land Trust and as vice chairman of the SC Conservation Bank Board. As a landowner, he has donated conservation easements on his properties in Darlington County. Keith is also active in his local Episcopal church, currently serving as treasurer, and in activities of the Episcopal Diocese of SC, serving on the Commission for Racial Justice and Reconciliation.

He lives in Hartsville with his wife Caroline, and our English setter Bet. His two adult sons James and Charles are married and live in Long Island, NY and Northampton, MA, respectfully.

Keith's hobbies include wildlife management, tennis, and yoga.
